Over 53 Years of History
The company’s journey began in 1972, in a small neighborhood in Penha (São Paulo), when Francisco Aguilar (the company’s director) developed a manual machine for producing bricks made from soil and cement. The product was named the Eco Brick and quickly gained popularity.
Its simple manufacturing process, which didn’t require burning like traditional clay bricks, and its ability to speed up construction made it an appealing alternative. This innovation marked the beginning of a new era in construction, offering a revolutionary option to the widely used Tijolo Baiano in the Brazilian market.
Rise
As the press at the time began to spread news about this technological breakthrough, demand for manual machines grew exponentially. JARFEL // SAHARA, always attentive to market shifts, quickly recognized the need to scale up its production capacity to meet the growing demand. What began as a made-to-order operation soon evolved into a large-scale industrial business, solidifying the company as a benchmark in the sector.

We are currently the leading reference in Latin America for the manufacturing of eco brick and concrete block machines.
We also run the largest ecological construction channel on YouTube, with over 145,000 subscribers who follow our courses, trainings, and content regularly. In 2025, the company celebrates 53 years of history and continues to expand its goals.
